Challenge
A contractor hit an active fire suppression line resulting in a large-scale water release that impacted four levels of a commercial building, including two office floors, a level of occupied retail storefronts, and the basement that stored high end antique furniture. The discharge involved Category 3 (contaminated) water, creating an immediate risk to building materials, tenant operations, and occupant safety.
Solution
Our team mobilized rapidly with industrial water extraction equipment and executed a coordinated, floor-by-floor response. We performed comprehensive extraction, contamination control, and structural dryout to stabilize the building and prevent secondary damage such as microbial growth, material deterioration, and business interruption.
Through precise mitigation strategy and aggressive drying protocols, we restored safe conditions and returned the customer to full operation without delay, minimizing downtime across all affected floors. Our fast, organized response ensured both environmental safety and business continuity in a complex multi-story loss.
