Multi-Floor Fire & Water Mitigation for Apartment Complex

Challenge

A structural fire originated on the fourth floor of a multi-unit apartment building, triggering the fire suppression system and resulting in water discharge that traveled through all levels of the structure, extending down to the basement garage. The combined impact of fire, smoke, and Category 3 water created an immediate threat to building materials, tenant safety, and overall habitability.

Solution

Our team mobilized quickly to assess conditions and implement a strategic response. We performed comprehensive fire cleaning, soot and smoke removal, and controlled, targeted demolition limited strictly to materials that were structurally compromised or contaminated beyond restoration. This precision approach minimized unnecessary disruption while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Through coordinated mitigation, contamination control, and restoration planning, we stabilized the property, reduced further damage, and supported the building’s safe recovery following a complex multi-floor loss.
