Our Cleaning and Disinfection Process

Level 1
If you have no known contamination, On-Site can provide routine cleaning and disinfection to help you maintain a healthy environment. Cleaning is available after-hours to minimize any disruption to your business.
Level 2
In areas with suspected contamination, a detailed disinfection and deep cleaning protocol is used. This may apply to areas visited by an infected person.
Level 3
In areas with confirmed exposure, a customized plan is developed to safely and thorougly clean and disinfect the area. Special considerations are made to protect the health of building occupants and visitors.

For all levels of cleaning, we follow these standards and methods for cleaning and disinfection:

  • On-Site uses EPA-registered cleaners that are effective against viruses similar to COVID-19. These products are non-corrosive and safe for use on a variety of hard, nonporous surfaces. After our COVID-19 cleanup, the product keeps killing bacteria and viruses for up to a year.
  • Mist foggers are used to disperse the sanitizing cleaners, covering large areas and ensuring an even application throughout the area being cleaned. This method is effective for reaching difficult-to-reach areas and is effective in high-touch areas including railings, door handles, lockers, light switches, and more.
  • Our team wears all required and recommend personal protection equipment (PPE) and follows are protocols to limit cross contamiantion.
  • All waste is marked as biohazard and disposed of properly.

Coronavirus Information and Prevention Tips

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China. 

The virus is thought to spread mainly between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet) through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It also may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.

Patients with COVID-19 have had mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of:

  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath

Businesses and commercial property managers can take proactive measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

  • Ensure procedures are in place so sick employees can stay home. Anyone with acute respiratory illness symptoms should be sent home as a precuation.
  • Encourage proper handwashing and have an alcohol-based hand sanitizer available that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
